Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and administer respiratory therapy treatments

• Manage ventilators and other advanced life-support equipment

• Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment

• Maintain compliance with clinical documentation and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island Respiratory Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) credential

• Strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Previous acute care or clinical respiratory experience preferred
