Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will:

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator management

• Monitor and document patient responses and adjust care plans as needed

• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize respiratory care

• Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and at-home therapies

• Ensure proper function and maintenance of respiratory equipment

• Uphold hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Arizona

• Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred depending on department)

• 1+ year of clinical experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred

• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within a team
