Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patients’ conditions, reviewing medical histories, and conducting thorough physical examinations
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed and evaluating the patient’s response
• Monitoring vital signs, identifying any changes or abnormalities, and initiating appropriate interventions
• Utilizing advanced monitoring equipment and technologies to ensure accurate and timely patient assessments
• Assisting doctors during various medical procedures and examinations, providing necessary support and documentation
• Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and available resources for proper management
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining accurate and organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal and ethical standards
• Participating in ongoing professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in PCU nursing

Requirements:
• Active ;RN license in Virgina ;(or compact license)
• Minimum ;1 year of recent PCU experience
• BLS, ACLS certifications ;required
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
