Registered Nurse – Palliative MedSurg

Seven Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, permanent position in the Palliative MedSurg unit at a respected healthcare facility in Temple, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about providing comfort-focused, holistic care to patients with complex medical needs offering $65,000 to $80,000 annually. ;

Key Responsibilities
As a Palliative MedSurg RN, you will:

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with chronic or life-limiting illnesses

• Coordinate pain management, symptom control, and emotional support in a MedSurg setting

• Collaborate with palliative care teams, physicians, social workers, and spiritual care providers

• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and adjust care plans as needed

• Educate patients and families on treatment goals, end-of-life planning, and care expectations

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (or compact license)

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

• 1+ year of experience in MedSurg or Palliative Care preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy, communication, and family engagement

• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary care model
