Registered Nurse – Orthopedics

Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Nurse for a full-time, permanent position in the Orthopedic Unit at a respected healthcare facility in Spokane, Washington. Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in Orthopedics, you will:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgery and trauma

• Administer medications, manage pain protocols, and monitor post-op recovery

• Assist in mobility, rehabilitation, and discharge planning

• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and care teams

• Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in the EMR

• Educate patients and families on care plans, post-op expectations, and home recovery

• Follow safety protocols and support a healing, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State (or compact license if applicable)

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic or post-surgical nursing experience preferred

• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal and surgical recovery care

• Excellent patient education, communication, and critical thinking skills
