Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse – Operating Room, you will:

• Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures

• Assist the surgical team by maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety throughout the operation

• Monitor vital signs, respond to changes in patient condition, and administer medications as needed

• Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures

• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR) system

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other team members to ensure seamless care delivery

• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CNOR preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an OR or perioperative setting preferred

• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure surgical situations

• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
