Registered Nurse – Oncology Infusion

Seven Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse for a full-time, permanent position in Ithaca, New York. This role is ideal for an RN who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment in a supportive outpatient setting offering $115,000 to $125,000 annually. ;

Key Responsibilities

As an Oncology Infusion RN, you will:

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV treatments

• Monitor patients for side effects, reactions, and therapeutic effectiveness

• Collaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans

• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments and side effect management

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in electronic medical records

• Adhere to all safety protocols for hazardous medication handling

• Support a calm, respectful, and empathetic environment for patients during treatment

Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license

• BLS certification required

• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Minimum 1 year of oncology or infusion nursing experience preferred

• Excellent IV skills, attention to detail, and patient communication abilities

• Knowledge of oncology protocols, treatment side effects, and symptom management
