Registered Nurse – MedSurg/Tele

Key Responsibilities
As a MedSurg/Telemetry RN, you will:

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions

• Monitor patients’ telemetry and vital signs, identifying changes and responding appropriately

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered

• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to coordinate individualized patient care plans

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning

• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR)

• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license

• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a MedSurg or Telemetry setting preferred

• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
