Key Responsibilities
As the Operating Room Nurse Manager, you will:

• Oversee daily operations of multiple OR suites, ensuring safe and efficient surgical care

• Supervise OR nurses and support staff, managing scheduling, training, and team performance

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative leadership

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control standards, and compliance regulations

• Monitor surgical outcomes, safety indicators, and implement quality improvement initiatives

• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and inventory of surgical equipment and supplies

• Support staff development and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon (or eligibility for licensure)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or related) preferred

• Minimum 3–5 years of perioperative nursing experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role

• Strong understanding of surgical workflow, OR efficiency, and staff engagement strategies

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
