Key Responsibilities

As the MedSurg/Tele Nurse Manager, you will:

• Oversee day-to-day operations and clinical supervision of the MedSurg/Telemetry unit

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for nursing staff

• Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality initiatives

• Promote a positive work environment and foster professional development

• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license

• BSN required; MSN or related advanced degree preferred

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• 3+ years of clinical experience in MedSurg/Telemetry and 2+ years in a leadership role

• Proven skills in communication, critical thinking, and staff engagement

• Knowledge of hospital operations, budget management, and quality improvement practices
