Key Responsibilities
As the RN Manager – MedSurg, you will:

• Oversee daily operations of the MedSurg unit, including staffing, budgeting, and workflow coordination

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices

• Support staff education and professional development

• Monitor quality metrics, address issues, and implement evidence-based improvements

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact state)

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum 3 years of clinical MedSurg experience

• 1–2 years of nurse leadership or charge experience preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
