Key Responsibilities

As the ICU Nurse Manager, you will:

• Lead daily operations of the ICU, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care

• Supervise and mentor ICU nursing staff while fostering professional development

• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams on complex care plans

• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards

• Participate in quality improvement, staffing, and performance evaluation initiatives

• Manage schedules, staff assignments, and budgetary needs of the unit

• Serve as a clinical resource for ICU nursing staff and support team decision-making

Qualifications

• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred

• Minimum of 3–5 years of ICU nursing experience, with 1–2 years in leadership

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN preferred)

• Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and team coordination skills

• Ability to manage high-stress, fast-paced clinical environments effectively
