Key Responsibilities

As the ICU Nurse Manager, you will:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring safe and efficient patient care

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to ICU nursing staff

• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety protocols, and state/federal regulations

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance evaluations

• Manage staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget planning for the ICU

• Serve as a clinical resource and support system for complex patient care issues

Qualifications

• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred

• Minimum of 3–5 years of ICU experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN preferred)

• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills

• Ability to manage teams in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
