Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Seven Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position offers $29.80–$51.17 per hour with a schedule of 3×12-hour night shifts and is ideal for an RN passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns during one of life’s most important moments.

Key Responsibilities
As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will:

• Provide direct patient care to laboring mothers, including monitoring fetal heart rates and contractions
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, newborn care, and recovery
• Respond quickly to obstetric emergencies and provide critical care when needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for mother and baby

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN or ASN)
• Active RN license in the state of Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (NRP preferred)
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience required
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
