Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Key Responsibilities

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will:

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients, including monitoring fetal heart tones and vital signs

• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries

• Administer medications and epidural anesthesia support

• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and support staff

• Offer education and emotional support to patients and families before, during, and after delivery

• Manage post-partum care and monitor for complications

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policy

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

• 1+ year of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred

• Strong clinical skills in fetal monitoring, emergency response, and maternal care

• Compassionate bedside manner and clear communication skills
