Key Responsibilities

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to women before, during, and after childbirth

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs

• Administer medications and assist with labor support and pain management

• Assist in vaginal and cesarean deliveries

• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health

• Document care plans, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately

• Respond promptly and effectively to obstetric emergencies

Qualifications

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license, if applicable)

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

• 1+ year of Labor and Delivery experience preferred

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively in both routine and emergency situations
