Key Responsibilities

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will:

• Provide safe, evidence-based care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum

• Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vital signs, and labor progression

• Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques

• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the care team during vaginal and cesarean deliveries

• Educate new mothers and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery

• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR

• Respond quickly and effectively to obstetric emergencies

Qualifications

• Active Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

• 1+ year of Labor and Delivery experience preferred

• Strong communication and decision-making skills

• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
