Key Responsibilities

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will:

• Provide direct patient care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to signs of complications

• Administer medications and manage epidurals, inductions, and emergency procedures

• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries

• Educate patients and families on the birthing process, postpartum care, and newborn care

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR)

• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and other care team members

Qualifications

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license

• Current BLS and NRP certifications required (or willing to obtain)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery or Women’s Health preferred

• Strong clinical skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
