Key Responsibilities

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will:

• Provide direct care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery

• Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor using appropriate technology and assessments

• Administer medications and assist with epidurals and other pain management methods

• Support obstetricians during deliveries, including both vaginal and cesarean births

• Educate patients and families on postnatal care and newborn health

• Document patient status, care, and interventions accurately in the EHR system

• Ensure a safe and comforting environment for mothers and newborns

• Respond swiftly to emergency situations with clinical expertise

Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

• 1+ year of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

• Passion for maternal-child health and family-centered care
