Key Responsibilities

As an ICU RN, you will:

• Provide direct, critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions

• Monitor and manage advanced life-support equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors

• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments in coordination with ICU protocols

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care planning

• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and perform emergency interventions

• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, recovery, and post-discharge needs

• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system

• Adhere to infection control and safety policies at all times

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN preferred)

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU or critical care experience preferred

• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
