Registered Nurse – Hospice Inpatient

Seven Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time, permanent position in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at a respected healthcare facility in Abilene, Texas. This role is ideal for an RN who is passionate about end-of-life care and providing comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families offering $45,000 to $70,000 annually. ;

Key Responsibilities
As a Hospice Inpatient RN, you will:

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to terminally ill patients in an inpatient setting

• Provide pain and symptom management in accordance with hospice protocols

• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and hospice aides

• Offer emotional support and education to patients and families

• Document all care and communication accurately in EMR systems

• Ensure compliance with hospice policies, state/federal regulations, and safety standards

• Advocate for patient comfort and dignity during end-of-life care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (or compact license, if applicable)

• BLS certification required

• Hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred

• Knowledge of pain management and comfort care best practices

• Strong interpersonal, emotional intelligence, and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
