Key Responsibilities
As a General Medicine (MedSurg Psych) RN, you will:

• Provide direct care to patients with complex medical and behavioral health needs

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and support recovery plans

• Implement both physical and psychological care strategies in a collaborative setting

• Work closely with physicians, mental health specialists, and social workers

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and support a healing environment

• Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State (or compact license if eligible)

• BLS certification required; ACLS and CPI/MOAB certifications preferred

• Minimum 1 year of MedSurg or behavioral health nursing experience preferred

• Strong communication, de-escalation, and critical thinking skills

• Ability to deliver empathetic, nonjudgmental care in a dual-diagnosis unit
