Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

Seven Healthcare is currently seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Registered Nurse – Endoscopy for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Ithaca, New York. This position is ideal for a nurse with a strong foundation in procedural care and a passion for providing compassionate support throughout the endoscopic process offering $115,000 to $125,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

As an Endoscopy RN, you will:

• Assist in preparing patients for GI endoscopy procedures

• Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures

• Administer medications and provide sedation under physician supervision

• Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with infection control standards

• Support physicians during procedures and handle specimens appropriately

• Document care and observations accurately in electronic health records

• Educate patients on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions

Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Endoscopy or procedural nursing preferred

• Strong IV insertion, patient monitoring, and clinical assessment skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Familiarity with conscious sedation protocols and GI procedures
