Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a full-time, permanent position in Ithaca, New York. This critical role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient lives in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting, providing exceptional care to individuals in urgent need offering $120,000 to $130,000 annually. ;

Key Responsibilities

As an Emergency Room RN, you will:

• Provide triage and direct nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent medical issues

• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient response

• Assist with stabilization of trauma and critically ill patients

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver rapid, effective care

• Operate in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and professionalism

• Document patient care clearly and accurately in the electronic health record system

• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and quality protocols

Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license

• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience

• Excellent critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills

• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-stress situations
