Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role for an RN who thrives in acute care environments and is passionate about delivering life-saving care to patients in urgent situations offering between $55,000 and $85,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities
As an Emergency Department RN, you will:

• Provide prompt, compassionate care to patients experiencing medical emergencies

• Perform rapid assessments, triage patients, and initiate emergency protocols

• Administer medications, IVs, and emergency treatments

• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and ED team members

• Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as defibrillators and ventilators

• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in real time

• Educate patients and families on treatments and discharge instructions

• Respond to trauma activations, stroke codes, cardiac events, and other critical situations

• Maintain composure and prioritize effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced settings

Qualifications

• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license accepted)

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS and TNCC preferred)

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills

• Ability to remain calm and focused in emergent situations

• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
