This position plays a vital role in overseeing all aspects of critical care operations, ensuring excellence in clinical outcomes, staff development, and patient safety in a high-acuity setting offering $85,000 to $115,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

As the Critical Care Nurse Director, you will:

• Lead and manage daily operations of the ICU and other critical care areas

• Ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety standards are met or exceeded

• Oversee clinical staffing, budgeting, policy development, and process improvement

• Mentor and support a team of RNs and clinical staff to ensure high performance

• Collaborate with medical staff, administration, and other departments

• Analyze and report quality metrics, driving performance improvement initiatives

• Support accreditation and readiness for inspections and audits

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)

• BSN required; MSN, MBA, or related leadership degree preferred

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• 5+ years of progressive clinical experience, with 2+ years in leadership

• Strong knowledge of ICU/critical care protocols, patient safety, and regulatory standards

• Excellent communication, team-building, and organizational skills
