Key Responsibilities

As a Cath Lab RN, you will:

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures

• Monitor patients before, during, and after catheterization and electrophysiology procedures

• Administer medications and sedation as needed during procedures

• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, radiologic technologists, and the surgical team

• Monitor and interpret vital signs, ECGs, and procedural outcomes

• Ensure accurate documentation of patient data, medications, and interventions

• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, safety, and infection control standards

• Educate patients and families about post-procedure care and recovery

Qualifications

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• 1+ year of experience in a Cath Lab, ICU, ER, or procedural unit preferred

• Strong cardiovascular assessment and critical thinking skills

• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations in a high-acuity setting
