Key Responsibilities

As a Cath Lab RN, you will:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

• Assist physicians during procedures by preparing instruments, administering medications, and monitoring patient responses

• Monitor patients’ vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status before, during, and after procedures

• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure expectations and recovery care

• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)

• Ensure proper infection control and safety protocols are followed at all times

• Collaborate with the cardiac care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, critical care, or telemetry preferred

• Strong understanding of cardiac care and procedural workflows

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
