Registered Nurse – Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit

Seven Healthcare is currently offering a full-time, permanent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) in Tallahassee, Florida. Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in the CSICU, you will:

• Provide direct care to critically ill cardiac surgery patients, including those recovering from CABG, valve replacement, and other complex procedures

• Monitor hemodynamic status and manage life-support equipment such as ventilators, arterial lines, and central lines

• Administer IV medications, titrate vasoactive drips, and respond rapidly to emergencies

• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized care plans

• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions

• Accurately document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record (EHR)

• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and hospital safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN preferred)

• At least 1 year of experience in a cardiac ICU, surgical ICU, or critical care setting preferred

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical skills

• Ability to perform under pressure in high-acuity environments
