Any unacceptable attire: Torn clothes, open toed shoes, not wearing scrubsAdditional Information:The IR Special Procedure Technologist should be proficient in the following tasks: 1. Performs diagnostic and invasive procedures of various anatomy and pathology ? Supports care team during procedures, including scrub assistance during procedures, recording images, properly operating oxygen, suction, blood pressure & other essential patient care equipment 2. Consistently operates special procedures imaging equipment to produce optimal quality examinations and in accordance with prescribed radiation safety practices. 3. Correctly administers contrast materials for patient exams. 4. Reviews Medication reconciliation form for potential contraindications prior to administration of any contrast. 5. Locates & properly operates oxygen, suction, blood pressure & other essential patient care equipment. 6. Consistently observes patients before, during & after procedures; Utilizes appropriate immobilization and patient transfer devices 7.
