Works cooperatively with all members of the department to resolveproblemsexpediently.Displays flexibility, team spirit, compassion,respect, politeness and accountability when dealing with customers. Demonstratesawareness of and sensitivity for patient s rights in all interfaces withpatients. AREAS OF EMPHASIS Instructs andprepares patients for examinations and assists Radiologist during procedures. Demonstratescompetence and proficiency in operation of all equipment and reportsmalfunctions to manager or lead. Completes allassigned procedures in a timely manner and uses time between procedures to department advantage-assistingothers and or assisting with room turnover Employeeunderstands his/her role on maintaining medication security to authorized personnel only. Demonstratescompetency in providing health care services in own job category to all age groups. Demonstratescompetency in interpersonal relationships to all age groups.DOCUMENTATION/INFORMATIONMANAGEMENT Demonstratescompetency in the use of Hospital information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS. Participates inhospital performance improvement activities (BPI projects, task forces,etc.) when warranted. Demonstrateconfidentiality using own password and all patient care modules.
