Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs. The volume and pace required to work here are that of level 1 trauma centerHiring Profile:Position PurposeUnder the supervision of the Manager of Reno Breast Center, the incumbent produces diagnosticmammograms, assists the radiologist and referring physicians in mammographic procedures, andensures patient care while representing the purpose of Renown Health.Nature and ScopeThe major challenges to this position include being able to understand and apply the technical skillsrequired to operate mammographic equipment.The incumbent must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical,motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety appropriate to adult and geriatric patients served, and meetstandards of quality as measured by the unit/department age-specific competency standards.The incumbent may be asked to perform other job duties related to Reno Breast Center as needed.This position has the authority to make technical decisions that will provide the best possiblemammographic image quality.This position must be proficient in the use of the MAMMOGRAPHY UNIT.
