On first shift we typically have 4-5 techs. Second shift after 5pm there are typically 2-3 techs. Third shift there is 1 tech. Weekends we have 2 techs. I would say the typical case load for one tech in an 12-hour shift is anywhere from 15-20 patients. All testing must be completed within 48 hours.
