Description: Specialty: CT TechFacility: Rivers Edge Hospital & ClinicState License: MNCerts/Licenses: Years of Experience: 1 year(s)Shift: 8H Day/Night RotateGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekDescription: Unit Notes:**All ppw due 7 business days before start – Noon CST*- General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): BLS, registered does not need to be certified, CT experience – Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: X-ray and CT experience – How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 2 S-ray rooms, 1 CT room, 2 portable units, 2 c-arms- Will they have to float/cover any other areas?ER, OR, Med Surg, PACU- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: General X-ray, general CT (no CT guided procedures/ IR), familiar with contrast administration, not required to start IV, comfortable working alone at times – Experience or ‘Must have’ skills: Some CT experience and hit the floor running, comfortable with transferring patients- Average # of scans/studies per day: 10 on weekends, 40 during during week days- EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: Epic, Novarad- PACS, CRTIS (radiologist specific program use for Tele-rad, prelim reports)- Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Shimadzu rooms, GE- c-arms, Fugi portable and Shimadzu portable, Siemens 64 slice CT scanner- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Kim H- Radiology Manager – Do they use RRA’s (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No- Radiologist in-house?: 24/7 Tele Radiology – Do they have to start IV’s? (if applicable to the department): No- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): Evenings- 2-1030p, Nights 10-630a, schedule made by manager – Weekend Requirements: Potentially every third weekend- dependent on experience and manager evaluation (it would be 6p-2a)- Holiday Requirementspotentially, dependent on experience and manager evaluation- Call or Standby requirement?
