Our night shift already has 3 unfilled positions with a 1-year military deployment happening at the same time. With another additional 6.0 FTE shortfall on day shift, I am unable to shift staff around to fill in these hours. Bramhall CT currently has an internal productivity index of 1.35 and external benchmarking that is well under 50%. Not filling this position will affect the flow of all patients at Bramhall (inpatients and ED patients) during the evening and overnight hours. This will have a negative impact on timely discharges and a significant increase in the length of ED stays for patients awaiting CT scan. No. of Positions: 1/1.
