Preferred Bachelor s degree in relevant field. License and Certification: State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer required upon submissionCertification by appropriate body: ARRT Registries of Radiography (R) AND (CT) required. BLS (issued by American Heart Association) required. We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist CT to: Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures utilizing an assortment of radiographic equipment, computers, and detectors. Set up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed to include the use of proper isolation precautions when needed. Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating – Travelers are the first to float.?Depending on the current staffing needs,?the traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or at different locations within the organization. This is a hard requirement. References : please remove all references, no references will be accepted Orientation Schedule : UWH orientation is held every other week typically on a Monday, but not all travelers will start on a Monday even if the contract has a Monday start. This is due to department specific orientation schedules. Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule. Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8/170 (subject to change traveler should follow instructions in welcome letter). Orientation is typically about one week. A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3 rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the individual does not pass on the second attempt their contract may be cancelled. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned.
