Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a respected healthcare organisation in Yuma, Arizona. This full-time night shift role is ideal for a critical care RN with strong Emergency Department or ICU experience who thrives in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will:

• Provide rapid assessment and high-quality nursing care to critically ill and emergent patients
• Triage, stabilise, and manage complex patient presentations across all acuity levels
• Interpret and monitor telemetry strips
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, ED technicians, and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
• Support a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and high patient turnover
• Participate in self-scheduling and weekend rotation requirements

Schedule Details

• 12-hour shifts
• Varied start times: 7:00 pm, 10:00 pm, 11:00 pm, 12:00 am, 1:00 am, or 3:00 am
• Modified self-scheduling model
• Four weekend shifts per four-week schedule block

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ recent Emergency Department, ICU, or Critical Care RN experience (within the last three years)
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Must reside 100+ miles from the facility to qualify for sign-on and relocation incentives
• Active RN licence (Arizona or compact)
• Strong clinical judgement, critical thinking, and rapid response skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department setting
