Radiation Therapist

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists

• Operate linear accelerators and other specialized equipment

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions

• Monitor and document patient responses and progress

• Collaborate with oncology team to support individualized care plans

• Maintain accurate treatment records in accordance with clinical protocols

• Uphold radiation safety standards and infection control practices

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required

• Active BLS certification

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a clinical radiation oncology setting

• Proficiency in operating treatment planning and delivery systems

• Excellent communication and patient care skills
