This is a senior position responsible for independently chairing multi-agency child protection conferences and ensuring that safeguarding plans are robust, child-centred, and compliant with statutory frameworks. Key Responsibilities:

• Chair Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences, ensuring decisions are made collaboratively and reflect the best interests of the child.

• Provide professional leadership and scrutiny to multi-agency safeguarding practice, promoting high standards and effective information sharing.

• Monitor and quality-assure child protection planning, identifying practice improvements and escalating concerns as needed.

• Contribute to service development by working closely with senior managers, offering feedback and analysis on trends, risks, and performance data.
