We are seeking a dedicated Child Protection and Assessment Social Worker to join our frontline team. You will be responsible for responding to referrals, undertaking assessments, and carrying out child protection investigations to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children across the borough.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake timely assessments: Complete Child and Family Assessments following referrals to identify risks, strengths, and required interventions.

Carry out child protection investigations: Lead Section 47 enquiries and develop clear, evidence-based safeguarding plans.

Work in a fast-paced front door service: Manage a dynamic caseload of new referrals, ensuring risk is identified and addressed promptly.

Engage in multi-agency working: Liaise with professionals across health, education, and the police to deliver effective, coordinated support.
