The successful candidate will work with children and families to safeguard and promote children’s welfare through assessments, care planning, and multi-agency collaboration. Key Responsibilities:

Undertake assessments and develop care plans for children and families, ensuring interventions meet statutory and local standards.

Manage safeguarding cases, including Children in Need and Child Protection, delivering effective and timely interventions.

Work closely with children, families, carers, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to support children’s needs.

Prepare reports for child protection conferences, court proceedings, and statutory reviews.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate case records and comply with legal, policy, and procedural requirements.
