Is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the plan of care for the person served. Performs and directs administration of all physical therapy modalities & collaborates throughout the process with the patient and their family and the interdisciplinary team.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors or Associates Degree in Physical Therapy.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure & BLS certification required.SKILLS:Demonstrates accountability and skills in assessment/evaluation, decision-making and time managementShould have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and organizational skills.EXPERIENCE: None required.NATURE OF SUPERVISION:Responsible to: Director/Manager Sports MedicineENVIRONMENT:- Bloodborne pathogen: BWorks in a clean, well lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, combative patients and hazardous chemicals. Subject to stressful professional relationships.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Good physical condition.
