Description: Specialty: Physical TherapistFacility: Dominican HospitalState License: CACerts/Licenses: Years of Experience: 3 year(s)Shift: 8H Days 8 hour daysGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekDescription: Unit Notes:**Holiday RTO will be considered, however not guaranteed**- Unit: Rehab Therapies, Cardiac Rehab- # beds: IP & OP -travelers will work IP for OT, PT, and Speech- Certs: BLS- EMR: Cerner- Charge Nurse: Manager availalble 7 days a week, works M-F mostly with alternating weekends- Nurse Aides: IP has one rehab aide- Weekend Requirement: Every other Sat or Sun, 2 weekend days in a 4 week schedule, would love someone who could do all weekends, will have day off during week on the weeks they work a weekend shift- Holidays: they have sign up sheet, will fill in holiday holes – Scrub Color: Black or dark colored pants, burgundy dress shirts or polos – Tele: Phillips- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes- IV Team: No- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Shifts: 8 hr shifts, hours are varied, start at 6:30am people staying until 6:30pm with a 30 min lunch break, schedule made by staffing captain- Floating: Float between units of hospital and to acute rehab – Floor specific orientation: 1 day hospital orientation and then 2-3 days of unit orientation- Common diagnosis/Types of patients: spinal cord injuries, TBI, stroke, cardiac rehab, ortho, etc.- Additional Notes: 3-5 years exp preferred, must have 2 years of acute experience, open to first time travelers, must have experience with ortho, neuro, and cardiac, ICU experience preferred, Speech – must be able to do bedside swallow, experience with modified barium swallow studies preferred, must be able to do cogntion. Spanish speaking candidates preferred. experience in OP or home health preferred.exp with physical disabilities preferred, they do get pediatrics but this is not required for travelers, pediatric patients include lyhmpedema, vestibular, wound care, -travelers not required to have experience with this with pediatrics Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Allied Shift Notes:8 hour days Required Certifications:BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification)
