Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical therapy needs through assessments and diagnostic tests

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans

• Deliver therapy to restore mobility, strength, and independence

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the rehab team to optimize patient outcomes

• Document treatments and progress according to state and facility standards

• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercises, and recovery plans

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning

Requirements

• Active Maine Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Excellent communication and clinical skills

• Previous rehab or clinical experience preferred
