We are seeking an experienced GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy hospital setting, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions.

• Verify prescription details to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulations.

• Provide advice to patients on their prescribed medications, including usage and potential side effects.

• Maintain stock levels, ensure safe storage of medicines, and assist with inventory management.

• Support the management of pharmaceutical supplies, including ordering and distribution.

• Work collaboratively with pharmacists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician (essential).

• Previous experience in an NHS hospital setting (desirable).

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adhere to strict safety and regulatory standards.

Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday.
