Shift Times: 07:00 – 18:00

Are you a skilled Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding opportunity in a secure environment? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join the healthcare team at HMP Chelmsford, supporting the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients in custody.

Role Overview:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate dispensing and administration of medication, working closely with pharmacists, nurses, and prison healthcare teams. Your expertise will help ensure that patients receive the correct treatment in line with clinical and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
? Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and administration of medications
? Provide advice and support to patients regarding medication usage and compliance
? Conduct medicines reconciliation for new arrivals to ensure continuity of care
? Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to manage stock levels and ensure safe storage of medicines
? Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with prison healthcare regulations

Requirements:
? GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician
? Experience working in a pharmacy, hospital, or secure environment (preferred but not essential)
? Knowledge of controlled drugs legislation and medication management
? Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
? Excellent communication and teamwork skills
