Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacist, you will:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications

• Review medication orders for appropriateness and ensure accurate dosages

• Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals and patients

• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide recommendations to optimize outcomes

• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, including controlled substances

• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and interns

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety protocols

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of New York (or eligibility to obtain)

• Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• Familiarity with electronic health records and pharmacy systems

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
