The Center for Health Ambulatory Surgery Center Schedule: Days, 5x8s. 6:30a-3p. No nights, weekends, or major holidays. Required Experience: Must have at least 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Tech. Must be an experienced Surgical Tech reporting to the Clinical Director and, according to department policies, procedures, and standards, prepares for scheduled operations, and arranges sterile set-up of instrument table. Assists surgeons by maintaining inventory and passing instruments and supplies, holding retractors, and assisting surgeons during surgery. Cleans the operating room and stores equipment and supplies. Under general supervision, inspects, assembles, processes, and sterilizes instruments according to established policies and procedures for clean and dirty instruments, depending on where assigned. Displays competency in fewer than 5 surgery services. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of patients served (6 months through adult).
