Assessment of BUE ROM/MMT/FMC/GMC/Sitting and Standing Balance ADL Assessments and Retraining with knowledge of adaptive equipment use Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Experience with CARE Tool Scoring in Inpatient Rehab Facilities Bilingual in English/Spanish List typical procedures performed on unit(s): ADL Retraining ROM/Strength/Balance/Neuro Retraining Best personality Fit: Team player Positive Attitude Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Las Palmas Del Sol Rehabilitation Hospital East is an inpatient rehab facility with 41 private beds, with one being an independent living apartment. The treatment approach is interdisciplinary based to include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, recreational therapy, rehab nursing, case management, respiratory therapy, wound care, nutrition, pharmacy, and the medical team to name a few. Daily huddles are held every morning to include communication between the therapy and nursing teams to promote daily goals toward patient progress to prepare for safe discharge to a community based setting. Interdisciplinary team conferences are held for each patient every 7 days at a minimum. Team conference participants include the medical director, PPS coordinator, case manager, nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist if included in the patient s plan of care. The leadership team is engaged in daily operations and provides adequate support and guidance to frontline staff members. All staff members are valued members of the team and employee engagement is greater than 90% in this department. The therapy team strives to improve services provided to patients, as evidenced by 9 members of the therapy team attaining their Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) certification.
