(Will provide care in outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed settings)Shift: 8 HR Days Shift, Primary shifts are 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. 1 hour of office time is generally blocked each day.Weekend Requirement: Yes, do to on call. On-call rotation, Saturday from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, once every 5 weeks.Holiday Rotation Requirements: This is optional / not required of position. Therapist can choose to work above guaranteed hours if patient needs justify additional hours / days worked. Float Requirements:: All work will be performed in the same geographic location. Our clinic is on the first floor, our hospital and swing bed are on the second floor.On Call/Call Back Requirements: Minimal. On-call rotation, Saturday from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, once every 5 weeks.Required Licenses and Certifications: WI Occupational Therapist License & AHA BLS required.Charting: Epic experience preferred. Minimum Experience (yrs in specialty): 1+ year OT in hospital setting. Experience providing Occupational therapy services in acute, subacute, and outpatient settings is preferred.Our COTA currently provides lymphedema services under the supervision of our PRN OT/R who is also lymphedema certified. Experience in this area is helpful, but not required.Unit Overview: We are a 24-bed critical access hospital with attached ED and specialty clinics. Our rehab services departments provide physical, occupational, speech, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in our outpatient clinic, hospital, and swing bed units. Case mix fluctuates, but an occupational therapist could generally expect to split their time between outpatient and inpatient care. Outpatient evaluations are scheduled for 60 minutes, most treatment sessions are scheduled for 45 minutes unless the therapist requests more or less time with that patient. Inpatients are typically seen for 45-minute sessions; frequency and duration will be determined by the evaluating therapist based on specific patient need. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with some flexibility in collaboration with staff based on specific patient need and staff availability. Our outpatient clinic is closed on weekends and holidays; however, we do have an on-call rotation for urgent inpatient PT / OT evaluations.Our team consists of the following:o4 physical therapists and 2 PT assistants,o1 occupational therapist, 1 OT assistant, and 3 contract PRN occupational therapists from an area hospital,o2 Contract PRN speech therapists form an area hospital,o2 dedicated rehab scheduling specialists, and o1 exercise physiologist and 1 RN in our cardiopulmonary rehab department.Case mix diagnoses include but are not limited to orthopedic injuries, post-surgical, general deconditioning, acute and chronic pain conditions, neurological disorders, and age-related conditions. We do have some pediatric referrals and do see patients across the entire lifespan.A typical daily caseload is 5-8 scheduled patient sessions per day. Scrub Colors required: dress code is business casual. Scrubs are allowed/optional. GSA is not guaranteed orientation week. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.Billing : Monday – Sunday **candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hrs for a quick start REQUIRED EDUCATION:Associate Degree or Certificate HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS:As needed SHIFT NOTES:8 HR Days – Perm Placement BEDS:24
